JOKE: AN INDIAN AND A BUFFALO WALK INTO A BAR

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter: "Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere And then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter: "Want coffee."

The waiter says "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?"

The Indian smiles and proudly says, "Training for position in United States Congress: Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day."

Bamboo Stick Impales 13-Year-Old's Neck

Photobucket
A 13-year-old Lynchburg, Va., boy is recovering after impaling himself in his neck with a bamboo spear while playing a ninja game.

Dez Heal was rushed to the hospital when he go hurt while playing with his friends more than a week ago, Lynchburg's WSET-TV reported.

Heal had the stick in the back of his shirt when it impaled him.

"I guess when he jumped, the stick must have went forward," said Heal's friend, Nicholas Blencowe.

"And when he hit the ground, the stick went in his neck."

The boy's father, David Heal, said the stick went through his son's neck and exited about 3 inches behind his left ear.
Doctors told ABC News they did not initially remove the stick.

"It sounds counterintuitive, but it's important to leave the object in place," says Dr. Abi Mehrotra, assistant medical director at the University of North Carolina Department of Emergency Medicine.

"You don't know what the damage is to the structure underneath. The object may be stopping the bleeding that may be happening."

Lucky for Dez, the stick did not hit an artery.

Florida man raped woman, then left for domestic violence class

Police say a man accused of brutally raping and imprisoning a woman her Daytona Beach apartment was arrested on Saturday, after he left his victim alone so he could attend a domestic-violence class.

Investigators say the sexual assault was preceded by a violent attack on a Daytona Beach roadway. The victim was driving on Atlantic Avenue on Friday night, police say, when her attacker struck.

According to an arrest report, the victim saw Ahmed Feisal Gad, who she has a domestic violence injunction against, drive up behind her in a 1999 Dodge and ram into the back of her vehicle.

He fled the scene, police said, but showed up at the victim's apartment that night and knocked at the door. When she opened it, Gad forced his way in, battered and shoved her to the ground, reports state.

Gad, 35, then went on a rampage, police say, throwing and breaking things in the victim's apartment. He stole her cell phone, reports state, and ripped off her clothes.

Police say that he then raped the victim, holding her down and biting her several times in the process. Afterward, he set the air conditioner to cold and forced her to stand in the corner naked, reports state.

An arrest report states Gad stayed the night in the victim's apartment, and raped her again in the morning. He then put the victim's clothes in a bag and took them with him to DeLand, police say.

He was going there, according to investigators, in to attend a domestic-violence class. Though he took her clothes, police say Gad left the victim's cell phone behind, allowing her to call for help.

The circumstances that led to the injunction were not clear Saturday night. The victim's name and any information about her relationship with Gad were redacted or omitted from documents.

Records show Gad has been arrested at least four times before in Volusia County, on charges including domestic battery and aggravated assault. His most recent previous arrest was in March.

Gad was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. He faces charges of sexual battery, aggravated battery, burglary, false imprisonment and violation of a domestic violence injunction.

Sinkhole forms under Guatemalan woman's bed

When neighbors heard the loud boom overnight they thought a cooking gas canister had detonated. Instead they found a deep sinkhole the size of a large pot inside a home in a neighborhood just north of Guatemala City.
The sinkhole that appeared late Monday was 12.2 meters (40 feet) deep and 80 centimeters (32 inches) in diameter.

The hole is tiny compared to giant sinkhole that formed nearby in 2007 that was 100 meters (330 feet) deep and swallowed several homes and a truck, killing three people. Area residents were forced to evacuate for days.

A 2010 sinkhole also in the same area, measuring 18 meters (60 feet) wide and about 30 meters deep, swallowed a three-story building and a nearby house when it suddenly formed.

"When we heard the loud boom we thought a gas canister from a neighboring home had exploded, or there had been a crash on the street," said Inocenta Hernandez, a 65 year-old widow.

"We rushed out to look and saw nothing. A gentleman told me that the noise came from my house, and we searched until we found it under my bed," said Hernandez.

"Thank God there are only material damages, because my grandchildren were running around the house, into that room and out to the patio," she said.

Police, members of the country's natural disaster office and water utility company officials came to visit the site.
Sinkholes, formed by the natural process of erosion, can be gradual but are often sudden.
Guatemala City, built on volcanic deposits, is especially prone to sinkholes, often blamed on a leaky sewer system or on heavy rain.

Is she completely bananas? Mad monkey lover takes her 5 macaques everywhere

Monkey lover Connie Tibbs will argue she is anything but bananas - however these pictures prove otherwise.
Mrs Tibbs, 37, is so obsessed with her pet macaques - all five of them, that she refuses to let them out of her sight.

Don't forget the bananas! Connie Tibbs shops for supplies at her local supermarket in Pekin, Illinois

Whether she's shopping for the weekly supply of fruit, driving around in her home town of Pekin, Illinois, or it's just time to call it a night, her macaques are never far away.
Mrs Tibbs has revealed that her animal friends are equally fixated with her:
'They attach to you almost like a human to a baby. If you pulled one of me, they'd scream,' she said.
'I am their mum and their world is centred around me, they adore me.'

Bit of a handful: Mrs Tibbs with the whole gang. 'If you pulled one off me, they'd scream,' she said

Mrs Tibbs said that her husband Steve faces a barrage of claws from the macaques when he tries to get close.
'My husband often complains that the monkey's get more kisses and attention than he does,' she said.
Whilst her younger children Dalton, 13, and Victoria, 12, have acclimatised to their mother's obsession, Mrs Tibbs said her 17-year-old son Tanner despises the macaques, which are called Alley, Jackson, Audrey, Dexter and Jaeda.
She said: 'The monkeys to a tail all hate my boy Tanner and the feeling is mutual.'

Mrs Tibbs, who runs a pet shop on the family farm, gives the macaques a weekly bath, changes their nappies in the kitchen, and dresses them up in tiny outfits.
She said: 'The day starts with Honey Nut loops, fruit and milk and then they wait in turn to be individually put on my lap to have their nappy changed.
'They sleep in little hammocks in a five feet by 10 feet cage at night and after their breakfast and change they are allowed out into the house.'
She even takes one of the monkeys to bed with her every night - dressed in its own pyjamas.

And so to bed: It's Alley's turn to don pyjamas and sleep with the humans

Mrs Tibbs explained that despite the stresses of running a business, being a mother to three teenage children and looking after her troop of macaques, she wouldn't change a thing.
She said: 'If I am draped in four monkeys in town sometimes people ask me what I think I am doing?
'I tell them that I have always wanted a monkey.'
Macaques are the most widespread of the primates and can be found from Japan to Afghanistan and, in the case of the barbary macaque, in North Africa. Twenty-two macaque species are currently recognized.
