The missing leg of a pedestrian killed in a Mesa, Ariz., hit-and-run accident has been found on the rooftop of a building near the accident.
Police say officers returned to the scene of Sunday's early-morning crash and located the lower-left leg on the roof of a storage facility about 160 feet from the scene.
Authorities recovered the suspect's vehicle after the crash.
Police say 22-year-old Jose DeJesus Padilla-Rodriguez faces two counts of failure to stop at a serious injury or fatal collision and two counts of failure to remain at a serious injury or fatal collision.
The name of the victim hasn't yet been released. Another male pedestrian injured in the same accident remains hospitalized.
