Brigham Young University student Katy Andrews was competing in the 3,000 metre steeplechase at the Robison Invitational in Provo, Utah, last week when she had an unfortunate slip just before the water jump.
Following the incident, despite cutting her head and bruising her thigh, she continued to run for two further laps.
